A Manchester Vinyard project, restoring this magnificent building to create a warm and welcoming community hub, hosting an affordable cafe and kitchen, after school clubs, community pantry, free groups and space for hire for like minded groups and events and services to help alleviate poverty and its many effects on the community, including providing financial, mental health and wellbeing advice for all ages.
Digital Advantage, working with 422, recently gained lottery funding for a digital skills training project. The project funded Podcasting equipment and professional training which will be aimed at the local community to assist with digital inclusion.
Our Pizza and Podcasting Taster Session invited Young people aged 12-16 to come along and be introduced to the world of making podcasts by professional broadcasters. A week-long podcasting workshop is planned to take place during school holidays in conjunction with local schools.
